Purchase Options

Reaching Letters offers two ways to subscribe to a 12-letter story:

Monthly Subscription — $12/month: Billed once a month (on the 9th of each month from the second renewal), starting on your sign-up date. You'll receive one letter each month as your story unfolds. Billing continues monthly for the full 12-letter story, then stops automatically — you don't need to do anything to avoid future charges once the story is complete, and you won't be billed again unless you choose to start a new one.

Prepaid Subscription — $144/year (one-time payment): A single upfront payment covering the entire 12-letter story, equivalent to the monthly rate for a full year. This is a one-time purchase, not a recurring charge — there's no further billing, and it does not renew automatically. Your 12 letters are mailed to you monthly over the following year.

From time to time, we may offer a limited-time or seasonal discount on the prepaid plan — the price shown at checkout always reflects any current promotion, and any discount is temporary and may end or change without notice.

Cancellation

Monthly Subscription

Since the monthly plan bills every month, you can cancel at any time to stop future charges and future letters:

Visit Manage Your Subscription and follow the prompts to cancel, or
Email hello@reachingletters.com with your order number, and we'll process the cancellation within 1–3 business days.

Your first letter ships within 2–3 business days of signing up, so cancelling right after sign-up may not stop it if it's already in production. From your second letter onward, letters ship with our monthly batch on the 12th and are already being prepared by the 9th — cancel or skip by the 9th to stop the upcoming letter; cancellations received after that date will still receive (and be charged for) the letter already in production for the 12th. Once you've received your 12th letter, your subscription ends on its own; you never have to remember to cancel just to avoid being charged again.

Prepaid Subscription

Because this is a one-time payment for the full story, there's no recurring charge to cancel. If you'd like to stop receiving future letters and request a refund for the unused portion, see our Refund & Returns policy for the terms that apply.
